Giorgio Montinaro, PhD student at POLITO, GIGAGREEN project coordinators, presented our project in a workshop on Challenges in Electric and Hybrid-Electric Aviation organised by the Society of Automotive Engineers in Torino. There, he had the opportunity to showcase the GIGAGREEN advances through a presentation entitled “Advancing lithium-ion battery cathode production for electric and hybrid-electric aviation: a waterborne approach using LNMO and LMFP”.
SAE TORINO Group, part of SAE International, connects engineers and experts in the automotive and aerospace industries to advance innovation, sustainability, and safety in mobility. On October 28th and 29th they organised this workshop that aims to create a collaborative platform for academia and industry to address challenges in electric and hybrid-electric aviation, promoting knowledge exchange, aligning goals, shaping policy, and building networks for future projects.
We would like to congratulate Giorgio on his first experience presenting at a workshop. We couldn’t be prouder to have him, along with his proactivity and growing knowledge, in the daily technical tasks of our project!
