Avesta disseminates GIGAGREEN at Battery Direct Recycling
On 3 March, from 10:00 to 11:00 CET, the fourth edition of the BATT4EU Success Stories webinar took place online and GIGAGREEN brought 3 different speakers.
The session, organised by BEPA (Batteries European Partnership Association) showcased three Horizon Europe projects that shared their key milestones, lessons learned and success stories: ENICON, GIGAGREEN and Transensus LCA.
Representing the consortium, Silvia Bodoardo, Full Professor at Politecnico di Torino and GIGAGREEN’s project coordinator, Rui Alves, Product and Process Development Engineer at INEGI and Dana Gallent, Research and Development Engineer at CETIM spoke about GIGAGREEN progress towards the goal of a green cell manufacturing process, the development of a simulation tool (the first step for a full digital twin), as well as the achievement of KPIs regarding the life cycle assessment.
