One more year, GIGAGREEN has taken an active part in the Battery Innovation Days 2025 edition, hosted in Graz (Austria) during December 2-3. Likewise, together with the Collabat cluster, and as part of the Battery Heroes group, on December 1 the workshop entitled Battery cluster Sustainability and impact after project’s duration took place.
GIGAGREEN was present at BID2025 with a booth where flyers were distributed but also played an active role as the project was part of two different speeches, on the one hand, Isabel Hanghofer, Development Engineer at VARTA and technical member of the greenSPEED project, delivered a presentation during the session Powering the future: Advanced processes and equipment for battery production summarising the main project outcomes of the BatteryHeroes cluster. On the other hand, Silvia Bodoardo, also 2030+ representative member, participated in the session Exploring the development of next generation batteries.
Finally, taking the chance of this event, the Battery Heroes group, together with the Collabat cluster, organised on December 1 a parallel workshop which featured contributions from the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), BEPA, Battery 2030+ and LiPlanet, as well as other cluster initiatives (EU-INGENIOuS, TwinBATT, etc).
