Last November 26th and 27th, our partners from POLITO and INEGI attended the Battery Innovation Days to promote the GIGAGREEN project. There, we shared a booth with our clustering group, the Battery Heroes, formed by GIGAGREEN and five other projects: NoVoc, greenSPEED, BatWoman, BATMACHINE, and GIGABAT.
The Battery Innovation Days (BID) is a hybrid event in Barcelona, Spain, and online. Co-organized by key European R&I initiatives like Batteries Europe, Battery 2030+, and BEPA, in collaboration with Batteries IPCEIs, BID gathers experts across research, policy, and industry to drive innovation in battery technology. Hosted by ACCIÓ, the Agency for Business Competitiveness, which the Government of Catalonia supports, the event features discussions on cutting-edge advancements in battery materials, design, manufacturing, and recycling, along with networking opportunities, trend insights, and the prestigious Battery Young Research Award.
There, we had the opportunity to show the project’s advances and to get to know other people involved in battery research. Our researchers, such as Emanuel Lourenço (INEGI) or our project coordinator, Silvia Bodoardo (POLITO), highlighted the event as an opportunity where all the actors in the battery research could meet and share their knowledge.
